The tournament is this Saturday, Sept. 4th.
My guess on the teams that will compete: Athens, Eastern, Federal Hocking, Ironton, Warren and Waterford.

The small school Eagles were able to fly just high enough to come out on top today at the AI volleyball tournament. I can't say they played their best volleyball (Lots of sniffles and sore throats among them), but they were able to scratch out enough points to peck their way toward defeating three division 2 schools on their low-altitude flight to become the tournament champs for the 2nd year in a row.
Hopefully the Eagles are not too sick or exhausted, making the return to their regular season schedule too difficult, just kiddering.
One thing the Eagles do to mess with their fans is to allow, solely for entertainment purposes, the opponent to get so close to winning at the end of too many of their sets.
Today was a great Eastern Eagle volleyball day! Gals, get the ice bags working, rest up and we'll see you Tueday evening.
Great job today!!! Go Eagles
