Waterford beat Eastern in Athens tourney in two quick sets. Rematch on the 31st at Waterford. Ball, Lang, Kern all good hitters up front and Taylor one of the better staters in the area. Waterford will be tough for anyone to beat in the Hocking.

I will have to agree with shoot_it_deep.. Waterford looked to be the best/all rounded team @ Athens today IMO... They should run the hocking both volleyball and basketball..

Did Waterford end up beating Athens in the final?

Waterford lost in final to Athens in 3 sets. Waterford won set 1 but 25-15 but lost 2 and 3. Volleyball is such a crazy game of momentum. Waterford is as good as anyone for stretches but has a hard time keeping it together for a whole game. Athens is very solid with good back row play.
