1. Football - No TVC titles.

2. Basketball - Ditto!

3. Baseball - Two titles in the TVC that I can remember and maybe more.

The facts are that Southern is a baseball school! The dreams of 80 and 82 are done and will never return! I guess I just have to face facts. Southern's dominant sport is now on the diamond...

Southern has had alot of good baseball teams over the years. Two straight years making it to the regionals is pretty good. They had some great teams in the 90's too that made a regional trip. You would think if you would have played on the 1982 team that you would have known they sent a team to the regionals.You should have studied the banners Friday night,then you could pretend a little bit better. What is wrong with been good at baseball? I guess you could say we are a golf school too. We sent a team to the state in 2005-2006. If you can go to the state or regionals in anything is great.

In my last post I said if you can go to the state or regionals in anything is great. Chucky you ought to try it. Then you won't have to pretend anymore.

I know you post things like this just to get people fired up but Southern is not a baseball school.In fact they have the most wins of any basketball team in the SE district of all-time with Portsmouth a close 2nd.

I know you post things like this just to get people fired up but Southern is not a baseball school.In fact they have the most wins of any basketball team in the SE district of all-time with Portsmouth a close 2nd.

Southern BELIEVES it is a basketball school & they do have the WINS to back it up but as of late the Championships have been in baseball. So I can see both sides to this argument.
