I have not spoke with Coach Brannon to get his blessing, but would like to take a team and individual photos and upload to the site as well.

In any case... go here http://www.leaguelineup.com/POST23 then click on schedules link in the left menu

You forgot to put the 2 players from Portsmouth West on your roster on the website.

Great site. . .thanks for all your hard work! :-D

Sorry... my bad. I'll get that updated as soon as I can. Thanks.

POST 23 - 10
POST 29 - 5

Post 23 fell behind 2-0 early, then 4-1 on a POST 29 HR. Then the bats came alive. POST 23 took the lead in the 5th.

Wamsley went the distance and the win.

Alfie Bricker is playing for the Chillicothe Generals with Robertson and Teeters from Waverly and Elliott from Burg. I'm not sure who else

Beverly was up 2-1 after one when the rains came. Was looking to be a good game.

Post 23 scored in the top of the first when the leadoff batter beat out a ground ball to second, not sure how it went in the book...tough play but should have been an out. The runner then stole second and scored on a single up the middle by Wamsley (I think).
B/L scored twice in the bottom of the first when leadoff batter Tyler Spence walked, then moved to third on a beautiful hit and run to right by Evan Brockmeier. Spence scored on a wild pitch. Tyler Stevens moved Brockmeier to third on a sac fly to right. Brockmeier then scored on another wild pitch. I'm not sure who the pitcher was for Post 23. Brockmeier was pitching for B/L.

Both teams were there by 3:45. Should schedule these things for about 3:00 and get them in before the 6 o'clock storms hit.

Why don't they play mid-week games at 6PM like they did back in the 80's?

Storms are gone and more people can watch the games.

Wouldn't do any good here, the storms arrive between 5:00 and 6:00. The games are for the kids, let them play during the day.

Can anyone tell me who was pitching for Post 23?

Wasn't at the game but give me a description and I can probably tell you. POST 23 pitchers would be Wamsley (SSU) , Farmer (Mt Vernon), Montgomery (SW), Morrisette (SW), maybe Myers (PHS) or Loop (SW).

Buldog--Is Oash( I am not sure of the spelling) the pitcher from Minford also pitching for Post 23. I was thinking he was Minford's top pitcher this past year. I could be wrong.

I would say Farmer or Wamsley will pitch against the Generals.

I would say that according to the weather and knowing the shape of Branch Rickey no one will pitch in the game cause it wont be played.
