Practice is scheduled for Friday evening May 22 at 5:30 PM at the Waverly High School Diamond. We are hoping that Waverly is still in the Tourney and that we can only practice with the players from outside the Tigers Team. Go TIGERS

fyi to coach tackett that eastern baseball just completed last season (make-up) game last night and any players from that team were unable to participate in the try out last weekend

Waverly Post 142 will have practice Wednesday the 27th at 5:30pm at Waverly High School. We will practice the best we can with the players that are not still in the playoffs. Young Men still in the playoffs are not allowed to practice with the Legion Team. We have a good group of young Men trying out for the team this year.Numbers are up from previous years.

No set Roster at this time, we have not had all of the Boys together yet because of the playoffs. We will have practice on the 27th and see what we have. At the present time I have 26 Boys that have contacted me about Leagion Baseball. Players from Waverly that are going to tryout: Martin,2 Tacketts, Moore,Remy,Underwood,Woods,Sims,Halterman,2 Howards,French,From Piketon,Blackburn,Taylor,Chavez, From Eastern, Brown,Swigget, We also have 6 Players from Jackson trying out for the team, They live closer to Waverly Legion than they do Vinton Co. So they are allowed to play for Waverly Post 142. Legion rules state that you play for the nearest Legion to you residence.

Yes, other than the( June 8th make up) we will be playing in the Wood Bat Classic in Chilly on the 4th of July weekend.
