One week into the season, how's your team doing?

Newark Catholic is 0-2. Losing 4-2 and 8-0.

There's only one way to go from here.

Rock Hill is 2-1
bats are starting to look good top to bottom in line up
pitching not bad, have not seen all pitchers yet?
still little errors that should be cleaned up!

Zane Trace 2-3
They return only one starter from last year. Two freshman have the pitching wins.

Valley is 5-0. I believe all five have been via mercy rule. Don't hold me to these scores...

ND 17-7
Northwest 17-1 (Evan Richards with a no-hitter but this one may have went 7 innings)
Minford 11-0
Piketon 13-0? (Not sure here)
Piketon 24-5? (Again not sure)

Valley is pretty good.

Looking at our schedule, I see we have a three way double header with Zane Trace the last Saturday of the regular season. We are quite young in many positions also, so it should be a good game. I'm looking forward to coming over to VA stadium and watching some good baseball.

Valley is a veteran team, Zane Trace is not.
I think Valley returns almost their entire squad from last year. They should get to the regionals this year.
I am not sure where those games will be played because I heard the Paints people are kicking high school games out left and right for college tournaments.
I heard that ZT and Adena (two local teams) only got one date at the VA.
$$$$$$ talks and crap on the local kids.

We were supposed to play Chillicothe down there on the 28th (with the JVs playing elsewhere), but that was cancelled. Tried to get it moved up here at our local stadium, but it was already booked (Rosecrans uses it as their home field).

Nelsonville-York is still struggling but the new coaching staff has them moving in the right direction.
