Fairland beats Rock Hill in 9 innings 1-0

Brandon Begil's bunt in the bottom of the 9th scores Jon Baise to notch the win. Alex Thackston pitched another great game and Chad Fisher pitched the last inning to seal the win. The OVC race is getting tight and will probably come down to the last week of the season.

Josh Malone also threw a real good game, he went the distance while walking two, and only giving up two hits which both was on bunts. I think he struck out 16 as well.

Malone threw extremely well. He only gave up three hits, which were all bunts. Fairland's bats are going to have to step it up to win this conference. They cant rely on Thackston and Fisher to keep carrying them. Coach Ward and his staff are working the players really hard.
