According to the Portsmouth Daily Times, South Webster is now 10-7 (4-4 SOC II) with wins over Waverly and Ironton St. Joe on back to back nights. In this Sectional, Webster only plays 2 of the teams. St. Joe and they split a DH @ Southern. I didn't make the Southern games, but heard both games were well played by both teams.

I'm interested to see how the pairings come out for tournament, but my guess of the 4 who will come out of this sectional for districts are: Eastern (Reedsville), Southern, Symmes Valley, and South Webster. Even though these are the teams I pick to win sectionals, I think the last couple of years a lower seed has upset one of the top 4 seeds. Can't wait for tournament play to start!!! Good luck to all teams!!

93bulldog, good job with the list. I for one appreciate your hard work.

Also, South Webster is 14-7 now. They will not play again this week due to prom.

oh boy, i am just gonna keep my mouth shut before i get in trouble....but i would love to know what everyone was drinking while they made their votes. dont you love how the 4th and 5th seeds are possibly the top 2 teams and they are forced to play in the first round. just paves the way for someone else

Please someone explain to me how it's possible that Notre Dame is a 1 seed...I am baffled, honestly how Symmes Valley and Webster are 4 and 5...this is ridiculous, this is almost as fixed as it was for Duke.

Notre Dame is #1 in the west and symmes valley is #4 in the east. East teams do not vote with west teams. With that being said, Notre Dame is probably #1 in the west and Symmes Valley is #4 (no better than #3) in the east.

I better understand now, but there is no argument that Symmes Valley and South Webster both are not better than Ironton St. Joe and Southern, those two may be both Better than Eastern Meighs

WOW, WOW!! Maybe it is time to look at the fairness to this seeding process. Symmes and Webster got the screws put to them. Not real fair to the kids on those teams. Way to go coaches!!! Reward those who don't deserve it!!! Great job!

Whoa Whoa who doesn't deserve what seeds? Dont' be mad that Webster wasn't placed where YOU thought they would be. Go out and win your games and it doesn't matter.
