Re: OSU Baseball and Scott Stricklin
He is the obvious replacement - best coach in Ohio (besides Bob Todd). Strick is old school - a lot of his teaching techniques have not adjusted with some of the modern baseball of the day - look at his pitching coach - the dude is a dinosaur (still teaches breakdown drills with pitchers like they did in the early 1990's) - but you know what, Strick and his staff win - consistently win. As a fellow coaching dinosaur, I loved what I saw at his coaching clinic this winter.....reaffirmed a lot of what we have done for years.

Tigernation, you seen Stricklin at his best, in front of a group of people, but my family seen him at his best and at his worst. You want to know what kind of man, (coach) he is, just give us a call. The man is a flat out liar and a piece of crap. I wouldn't wish Stricklin on any program. And what makes you think Birkbeck will come, he could be the head coach at Kent any time he wants or better yet to the pros to coach, but he turns it down.
