Look for a low scoring game with the team playing the best defense winning. The X-factor could be the long long long bus trip Trimble has to make on a hot and humid day, I have made the bus trip from Itown to Athens and it is no fun, we always had 1 or 2 players be sick before we got there. With that said we wish the Tomcats a safe and sick free trip. GO FLYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4-3 Trimble.........Tanner did not deserve to lose this game

not a very good coaching job by the Flyer Coach......you have to get out of the dugout to coach.......

just an observation by a baseball fan .......

Charley, respect your opionion but no one loves the game of baseball more than the Flyers coach. Wouldn't have it any other way.

93bulldog, You of all people should know ISJ was a #3 seed not #1. Riley pitched well giving up only 2 hits both in the 5th inn.One was a bloop the other was a blast. The Flyers made good contact the entire game but right at them. Give Trimble credit they made all the plays in the field and their pitcher did not walk many. ISJ will be back though they return 6 starters next year.

It sounds like they are a young team the same as Trimble. I'm sure both teams will get better and better as they mature. We should be proud of all of them for a good season.
