It does not appear that this game will be rescheduled. Both teams are booked pretty tight for the rest of the summer, unless there are cancellations...

Does Athens have a junior team this year? It looks like they have several 15 year olds on the senior team.

DOESN'T THE MESSENGER CARRY P21'S GAMES SINCE THEY ARE ATHENS?

Good question. The Athens Messenger office is less than 1/2 mile from Rannow Field where P21 plays their home games...

I believe the editor is out of town this week - and - Tom Metters (who use to cover a lot of Legion games) doesn't work as often anymore ... also .... The one guy who loves baseball and covered the 4th of July tourney last year for the paper isn't working there this summer. Hopefully he wil be back by August - but the season will be close to over by then ... unless of course Athens wins the State tourney and is playing in the regionals.

THAT IS A SHAME. THEY ARE A PART OF THE COMMUNITY AND SHOULD BE COVERED AS SUCH. THEY ARE A GOOD TEAM AND SHOULD BE COVERED.
