Should be a great game. Two solid programs with great players/coaches. It's going to be a new experience for the Jeeps, since this is their first trip to regionals. I've got faith in them. Fun Fact: South Webster beat Waterford 2-0 in sectional final back in 2015. As always...Go Jeeps

I've only watched both teams twice, but I think this will be a very good game.

I think that if Clay Hayes throws for Waterford, that it gives them the edge, but Webster has a solid team and I could see scratching out a couple of runs.

I'll take Waterford, 3-2 in a tight, well-played game. Good luck to both teams.

I saw Waterford play Zane Trace in mid April. Zane Trace won 7-1, but neither team threw their top pitchers. Waterford is solid and a very good D4 team.

Waterford won 6-3. Belleville pitched a complete game.

Waterford got more clutch hitting than SW. Of the 9 runs in the game(5 earned), 8 scored on RBIs, one each by SW's Ruth and Shonkwiler, and 2 each by Waterford's McCutcheon(1st 2 of the game on a 2 out hit up the middle) and Brock Hayes(last 2 of the game on a 2 out hit down the RF line). The other 2 RBIs were in separate innings by Clay Hayes, the 2nd to break the 3-3 tie. Great plays in 2 separate innings on line drives were made by the SW SS and 2nd baseman with lots of runners on, the one by the SS was turned into an unassisted DP to get out of the 3rd inning with only one run given up.

Gee threw 104 pitches(60 for strikes) in his 5 innings while Belleville threw 92(63 for strikes) in his 7 innings. Waterford had six players each get one hit while SW had two get two(Blevins and Gee).
