Blue Devils finish season at 22-7
Seventh seeded Miami Trace upset number one seed Gallipolis 4-2 Thursday night in the 2012 Division II District baseball finals in Chillicothe’s Veterans Administration Stadium.
By virtue of the triumph, the Panthers (10-10) advanced to next week’s regional tournament semifinals at Zanesville (May 24) and will play Edison, winner of the Warsaw I district title at 2 p.m.,
Number five seed Unioto (16-7) defeated number three seed Fairfield Union (16-12) 3-1 in Thursday’s other Division II finals earlier in the day at Chillicothe.

Taylor was still in at the beginning of the 8th if I recall correctly.

Jottings article could be 100% correct.... There is just not enough info to decide the losing pitcher.... If the starting pitcher completed the 7th inning and did not pitch in the 8th then he would get a no decision.... If the starting pitcher pitched in the 8th and was relieved with no runners on base then he would also get a no decision.... If the starter was relieved in the 8th and there were runners on base that eventually scored then he would be the losing pitcher.... That is a simple explanation of what could have happened....I wasn't at the game.... I just talked to a friend of mine who use to coach HS ball and was at the game, he stated the starter was the losing pitcher...
