Shawnee State Baseball Summer Youth Camp

Shawnee State University Baseball Head Coach Ted Tom is pleased to announce June 24-26th as the dates for Shawnee State University Youth Baseball Camp. This is a fantastic opportunity for boys and girls between the ages of 6-14 to learn the fundamental building blocks of baseball directly from the SSU coaching staff and players. Camp will run each morning at Branch Rickey Park in Portsmouth, OH. from 9am until noon, featuring defensive instruction for infield and outfield play, offensive instruction, and pitching and catching. Ted Tom and the Bears have played for conference championships in three of the past five seasons and have won 129 games in the past four seasons. This year, they eclipsed the 30 win mark for the third time in four years and the eighth time in school history. Each camper will receive in-depth instruction on his or her play in what promises to be a fun and informative camp.
