Great job Pirates! Moore will likely finish his high school career at 35-0!! Now to see who wins between Bloom Carroll and Hamilton Badin.

Unreal career. I just hope he opened eyes to some of the big boys. This kid is a pitcher and a winner.

wow, amazing game...for Moore to go 8 and a third of shutout baseball, and then bring in Martin a sophomore to face the 3-hole and 4-hole hitter if I am reading the posts correctly to get the final 2 outs with bases juiced...are you kidding me
congratulations to Wheelersburg, what a program, what a run the last couple years...best of luck to Coach Estep and the team on Saturday morning to win their second straight championship...wow.

Great job Burg.
Nice way to show other schools in this area that a good public school can beat a private school.

According to OHSAA's twitter account the game is postponed. It is supposed to be played sometime today; however, it will be the only other game played today. Therefore, games will be pushed back to tomorrow and Saturday with two championship games played on Sunday.
Wheelersburg will play Saturday at 4pm for the championship.

That's great news for fans. Wheelersburg typically has a great following, but I think even more people will make the afternoon trip than would have gotten up to be on the road by 7am for the 10:00 game.cave canem wrote:bengalfan76 wrote:OHSAA site with no stats so it must be in a rain delayPtguard wrote:Anyone have the score of the Badin Game?

Congrats to the Pirates on another great win. Sounds like it turned out to be a pitchers duel exactly as predicted. Playing in the state title game in 3 out of the last 4 years just proves what a great program Coach Estep has established at the Burg.
