Coach Josh McKirtick takes over the Tigers this year after a long successful run by Thrash. I assume Josh and staff will have what it takes to push through after losing an excellent senior class last year. Look for them to be competitive this year and for many years to come.

Did Jason Wright at Oak Hill step down? I was told he resigned sometime this fall. Haven't heard anything on here or on a new hire. Can anyone elaborate?

I can elaborate: I stepped down at the end of the 2017 season. May 15th to be exact. Rob Sams will now be the New Coach at Oak Hill. As for me, I will be Coaching with my good buddy, Rich Corvin, at Gallia Academy as an assistant Coach!

Good luck to the Oaks under the direction of Coach Sams. Also, good luck to you in your new coaching endeavor. That is a lot of combined wins for a head coach and assistant coach. The boys at Gallia Academy should be spoiled with such experience at the helm.
