That was one of the better baseball games I've watched in several years. Great game by two pretty good teams. I know the Circleville folks have a lot of respect for Beverly-Lowell.

So if a pitcher pitched over 75 pitches in the 10am game Wednesday, is he eligible to pitch the 1 pm game Saturday after 72 hrs has elapsed?

So any pitchers who threw over 80 pitches anytime on Wednesday aren't eligible to pitch again until Monday anytime of day, and that wouldn't happen unless weather delays the end of the tourney until Monday? The four days of rest being Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun.

Yes that is correct. This is when we find out who has a deeper pitching staff. I know Beverly/Lowell is deeper than they were last year.

Beverly Lowell beat Lancaster 6 to 2. They now play Circleville tonight at 7 if they win they play tomorrow again at 1.

Two things of note:

Circleville won both the Junior Legion and Senior Legion tournaments...quite an accomplishment

Circleville lost both games in the Great Lakes Regional to Wisconsin teams.
7-6 and 12-4
Circleville's pitching gave up 29 hits in the two games.
