After 1 full week of the season things are close to expected. The top 3 teams right now are Valley, Minford, and Wheelersburg. Look for Waverly to get better as season goes along (not sure how many guys were on the basketball team). The rest of the league is up and down… Some depending on who’s pitching for them. West looking a little better than expected. Northwest struggling without a true #1. Oak Hill has Sams who gives them a chance. Watched SW & Burg and SW has potential, bad way to end that game on the dropped fly ball. Webster been playing entire season without their best player in shortstop Zimmerman. Don’t know much about Eastern Pike at all. One thing is for sure though… Valley and Minford are REALLY good.

Props to Minford for scheduling up. That's a tough week to get through with Valley, Jackson and Warren. Probably a couple at bats or plays away from being 4-0. But that's baseball against tough teams. I think the competition will make them better.
