Zane Trace at Piketon postponed on 4/25 because of NO umpires at 3:30pm
League Assignor knew the league game was cancelled on 4/21 at 6pm.

That is part of the problem!!!! I would bet you are not having problems finding Softball umpires. Baseball game last close to 2- 2 1/2 hours while softball 1 -1 1/2 hours and make the same pay. Umpires are not stupid. You do the math!!!! SB and BB making the same pay for years has been a problem.

Not a problem. There are always umpires on both fields. Gas $3.75 a gallon, you better pay more.

Schools need to increase pay for officials if they want to continue to play. Even McDonald's is $15 a hour.
