Marietta - 4
Zanesville - 2

Marietta's Trent Taylor with 12 K's in a complete game win. Marietta manages only 2 hits off Zanesville's Landon Harney. Harney had 7 K's but got the loss with 4 unearned runs..ouch.

Marietta advances to face Cambridge today at 3:30
Zanesville drops to the loser's bracket and plays Beverly-Lowell today at 6:00 in an elimination game


Game 2

St. Clairsville - 5
Beverly-Lowell - 4

Beverly-Lowell's Clay Gruey gives up 5 earned runs on 8 hits with 5 k's over 6 IP and gets the loss. Kainan Bradford had 3 singles and RBI.

Day 2 was pretty wild

Game 3

Marietta - 14
Cambridge - 3

Marietta came out swinging and put up 12 hits. Taylor, Laumann and Fling all with 3 hits. Laumann had 3 rbi and Fling had 4. Cambridge pitching struggled to get outs and the defense had 4 errors. 4 errors, 4 walks and 4 HBP.

Sealey pitched well for Marietta. Complete game allowing only 6 hits with 6 k's. Cambridge was led by Valentine with 2 rbi on double and single. Williams smacked a HR.


Game 4 (elimination game)

Zanesville - 6
Beverly-Lowell - 12 (8 innings)

Zanesville lead the whole way scoring 5 in the fist and taking a 2 run lead into the 7th. With 2 outs and 2 on, an errant throw scores 2 to tie it and send it to extras. It was all BL from there. Bradford only had one hit for BL but it was a 3-run HR in the 8th. Welsh had 5 hits and Hesson 2. Wiseman had 2 doubles for Zville. Grandstaff and McClellan has 2 hits as well.


Today

3:30 - St. C. vs Marietta (to get to championship)
6:00 - Cambridge vs Beverly-Lowell (elimination game)
