Feel for the Trimble seniors, as I believe they went to two straight regional appearances. Waterford plays, most likely, the winner of Newark Catholic/Berne Union. BU can pitch well, but the bats there have been streaky.

They had first choice by virtue of #1, but I think they may also have passed on their time to pick to let Newark Catholic pick first out of respect. NC is the defending state champs, and they got the #2 card because a couple schools low-balled them in the seeding. If that were the case, I don't think it's a matter of stupidity. (Plus, I think FC's coach knows what he's doing.)
