I'm rooting for Ashland. Sounds like they played a nice one against Boyd Co. the other day.
Oh and I think they beat the Grove if I'm not mistaken.

Ashland wins two on senior night against Bath and Fleming counties.
Are either of their seniors going anywhere to play ball?

Tuesday13 Wheelersburg A 5:00

If this game was listed as an away game for Greenup then why was it played at Greenup and not Wheelersburg. I heard that this was the 5th year in a row that the Burg has played at Greenup. What is the reasoning for that? Anyone know?

Wheelersburg starts their home games at 5:00, so no need for lights.

Ashland beats Fairview in the bottom other the 7th in a close one tonight. They move on to play the winner of Rose Hill and Boyd Co. Didn't stick around for that one.

Not much of a game, then?
So do Boyd Co. and Ashland play tomorrow?

I would like to see Ohio adopt the 2 out of 3 format for the state semis and the finals instead of one and done.

So, each district tournament is double elimination? Then, the Final 8 (State tournament) is one and out? If this is true, that would be way better than Ohio because you would get more of chance to get the best teams advancing. It would be a true test of a pitching staff.

Keep us posted hopefully Greenup can keep it going and Burg too so there would be 2 state champions within 10 miles of each other.
