Post 128 had a good start today, by defeating the McArthur Post in a double header at McArthur. The score for game 1 was 27-1 and game 2 was 15-3 I think. I understand that McArthur is a young team and they also had a couple of good players who were out due to injuries. Meigs County played well together today. Everyone seemed to be hustling in the field and hitting the ball well. Patrick Johnson pitched the first game, I believe, and in game two Austin Dunfee pitched, and Bryan Delong also spent some time on the mound.
Nice start Post 128. Keep the momentum going.

Saw where Austin Dunfee signed with Shawnee State. Congratulations to him. He'll join fellow Marauder (and Post 128 alum) Jeremy Blackston at Shawnee.

Ian Hall of Oak Hill broke his ankle on Saturday and is out for four to six weeks. Andy Grillo of Vinton County is still recovering from a severely sprained ankle from high school baseball season. And Anthony Bentley of Vinton County was at the Reds game, yesterday. We were missing one third of a starting line-up. Not that it would have made any difference, Meigs has very solid ball club, great hitting, great pitching and great defense they should be a force to be reckoned with in the District 8 tournament.

Hawkeye stated:

Time will tell
