INFO NEEDED: Where does Chillicothe Legion play its games?

Our Jr. Legion team plays down there on Saturday. Just wondering how to set our fancy GPS locators!

Coming into town via 23, some via 159.

Which Post Team are u playing 757 or 62?

I have no idea. Our schedule only says "at Chillicothe."

Ok this should take care of both of them;

757 field: take 23 south to the Eastern Ave exit, end of the ramp turn right, go about 2 mile an u will come to a Harley Davison & Honda Motorcycle shop on the left u turn right, go about 1/4 mile an cross the R&R tracks an turn right into the ball park an go all the way to the back last field u come to.

62 field: if coming from Rt 159 go straight thru town on bridge street, if coming down Rt 23 take the Bridge St exit an go thru town. Take Bridge St to the exit for US 35, take US 35 to the exit for Rt 104, end of the ramp turn right then make an immediate left ( u can see the street from the end of the ramp ), take that street all the way past the Unioto High School to the stop sign an then bare to the right an go up the hill an the ball field is about 2 to 3 miles on the left sign say Ross Co Park

Thank you. It's opening day for us. Trying to blend kids from four HS programs (Zanesville, Tri-Valley, Maysville, West Muskingum) very quickly. Tis a work in progress.

Post 23 had that task last year with 9 different school an it worked out very well.

It's a new experience for me, that's for sure. I've done some Babe Ruth all-star teams, but this is an "all-summer" all-star group. Thankfully, the managing part is someone else's problem -- I get to just watch (and wretch) all summer!

BTW -- I ran Google Earth and found both sites. I'm somewhat familiar with the Chillicothe area, so it wasn't too hard to find!

Not a problem an It is Mary Lou Patton Ball Park. We was just there last Sat. an played the Sr Team Very nice field. I have u beat I used to coach a few years ago but not anymore, hahaha sorry. I get to relax an enjoy watching my son pitch when it comes his time in the routation.

Mine plays all over the place. But since I coached Zanesville's JVs this spring, and there are seven ZHS players on the team, there was no way I could work with them this summer. I shall relax, sip some cold beverages and just watch. For once.

Thats what makes it fun again, a grill an some cold beverage in the outfield watching a DH baseball game. There is Nothing BETTER!!!

Going to the store later tonight and stocking my cooler. With the price of gasoline ... well, anyway you can cut costs is good ... and doing an "old school" double-dip at the ballyard makes for an enjoyable Saturday afternoon!

Yep, just in a few min Iam heading out to the ball park myself, We play Fairborn Post Team tonight @ Minford High School Field an the cooler is already packed, HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! So I hope u have a good weekend an us to. I'll post this weekends results on Monday morning.
