Congrats to Coach Jack Branon (former Wheelersburg Head Coach) on being inducted to the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. This is an honor that is well deserved.

When you look up the definition of the word class in the dictionary, there is a picture of Jack Branon there. This is very well deserved. He impressed me many years ago when I was in high school and he was coaching at Wheelersburg with the way he handled himself on the field. His demeanor never changed all through the years.

Coach Branon is a CLASS MAN! The Bama household would like to congraulate him and his wife on this fine honor. Those of you who coach know it takes a special wife to put up with all the late practices, change of plans, gripping parents and long seasons. My son had the privilege of playing for Coach Branon the past two years with Post 23 and we have nothing but respect for him as a coach but more importantily as a man of high charcter and morals. Congrats once again on this fine honor. Well deserved!!!

I have had a chance to get to know and coach against Coach Branon over the last few years and I must say that it has been a BLESSING! This man exemplifies ever good aspect of a human being and as a baseball coach!! The respect I have for this man in just a few short years is off the charts!!

Coach, congratulations for it has been overdue, but you definitely deserve it. One day I hope my name can be spoken in the same sentence as yours in this area. It would definitely complete my coaching career, if it would ever happen???

I must also say it will seem unusual to me not to be coaching against you this summer, but I wish you and Post 23 the best for 2009!

Congrats to Coach Brannon on a much deserved award. He is a great coach, but a much greater person. Post 23 is so lucky to have such a great coach to come back to be a part of young men's lives and careers. Thanks to him and Sharon and their family for being a baseball family! We are blessed to have them!
