FH worked some new starters into the lineup this evening, and entered the 6th inning at a 1-1 score. FH went back to the typical lineup and blew the game open. Dennis Jones from Waterford is a really nice player. I hope he finds himself a good legion team and wins some games this summer.

After splitting a DH over the weekend on prom day, and beating H20ford, FH is 15-4 and 8-0 in the TVC Hocking. FH has clinched a share of the TVC Hocking Title, and must win one against either Trimble or Miller to clinch the outright title.

Although it looked bad, hope Vinton County's Andy Grillo's ankle is not too seriously injured. He was injured running to first base on a hit in the last inning and had to be helped off the field.

Belpre upped their TVC win total tonight with a 5-2 win at Wellston. Markie Tate pitched a 2 hit gem for the Golden Eagles as they improved to 6-2 in TVC action. Belpre scored 4 times in the top of the 7th to take the lead after trailing 2-1.

It was an ugly game tonight. Both Meigs and Alex were hitting the ball like crazy, but neither team could seem to field the ball very well, until late in the game. Meigs went on to win the battle, 21 to 16. But a win is a win. Meigs improves to 8-1 in the TVC.

Southern played very well tonight.. Chapman pitched an excellent game and the defense stood their ground and southern hit the ball where there was no eagles... congrats on the win... just keep it goin for the remainder of the week and on to the tourney!!!
