I also hear that South Point has come up with some new talent that is going to make them a contender!
Rock Hill's pitching is down and their hitting is struggling from a report that I heard from a former coach at practice.
Your Information you heard is wrong Rock Hill only lost 1 pitcher from last year yes, he was the #1 pitcher but they are loaded with starters and for hitting only lost 1 big bat and it was a homer or a strick out! And for new faces at coal grove and south point everyone got young new talent.

Why squinks are you worried? I think they have won like 2 OVC games. One against Coal Grove a couple of years ago, but never a conference title.
Any OVC team going to be a surprise?

Did the Dickess kids dad play a year of college ball at Rio Grande. Would have been 80 or 81. Rick Dickess? South Point had another guy at Rio at the same time, Jimmy Friend??? I think was his name. Not sure if either made it from fall ball to spring season. What I can remember Dickess had good velocity.

Anyone from RV here? Just wondering who was coaching the Raiders this year.

It was in the Gallipolis paper today that there are two guys that split the salary. Half and half on varsity and j.v.

Forget their names raiderball but I remember one of them was a archon member down at rio and I think he played atleast a season for the Redmen.....or red storm.

Thanks Tubby. I saw that in the paper. Wondered where they were from.

Squinks.... Played at Rio when Rick was there. Just wondering if this was his son.

Jeff Clark from Fairland played at Rio at the time also. Ran into him at Fairland when his sons were playing a couple years ago.

c-peake is gonna be tough this year. They have struggled in sgrimmages so far but with gaining atleast 5 players from the basketball team they will improve. They have colton lindsey who is a senior and can play catcher and is tough behind the plate. They have brandon noble who is just a sophmore but will be a key in the peake team. Michael walters a freshman is said to have a good arm and good accuracy which will add pitching to their roster. Then they have two other freshman that are a good addition a well.
