OVC 2010 Predictions and thoughts

South Point? Come on! They have no pitching and very little hitting.
Lets face it, South Point can't get players eligible or they are too lazy. They
have some defense and speed. Redmen have players back who can produce and have the experience. Hornets have pitching and kids who want to play ball along with speed and defense. Fairland is young but will surprise alot of teams this year. Chesapeake will reload and are capable of beating any OVC team any day.

Yeah but your right on all that except for theres people for sp that have pitching and our going out for baseball this season so dont be suprised if they upset alot of teams.

rockhill did have a Sr league team,south point, coal grove ,ironton went togeather to beat them.!!!!!

Infield, you are so right.
But what is happening to the numbers in baseball? Are they on traveling teams or just losing interest?
South Point and Ironton have always had such great Little League programs, then what happens after that?

i think most kids are losing interest, coal grove and ironton been togeather for years green had a couple kids from burg this year. burg,valley,symms valley and so on always had good teams.

more kids are playing legion ball and thats hurting your home leagues.

ovc champs 87 arent you a little old to be on here raggen on kids!! Its not like you really know what your talken about--I can recall on the other forum you seem to praise monnier --and he's not all what you think he is in basketball--thats been proven! Sparks is a good athlete and kid! He loves baseball and knows the game! Im sure jones will be missed ! But you have to give the new coach a chance!!! Rock Hill will be tough this season!

is coal groves qb playing baseball? sparks is a talented kid he will get his due on the feild. if cg can get there athletes to play they have a shot at the ovc. sparks,haynes,dickess,devon m, goodwin, their qb, cant think of his last name. there are a few more good athletes that should play. jake murphy could be the best one all around for baseball. alot of good players there

murphy is a good baseball player but definatley not the best all around player! (nothing against the kid) youve got at least 3 good returning players for cg---Sparks,Haynes,Murphy! Sparks pitching and Murphy catching awesome duo!!! tough to beat!

ovc champs 87 you truly need to quit posting on baseball and basketball! you truly have an issue with the sparks boy doing good in any sport ! (JEALOUSY WILL GET YOU KNOW WHERE!) GET OFF HIS BACK ! He's a kid trying to enjoy sports! it takes a whole team to win! not like you truly know anything about sports because the one kid you bragged on in basketball is not all that !!

nothing against the new coach for cg but wish cp and murphy had gotten the job! they're great with the kids and the kids respect them!

I am a fan that likes watching any athlete that enjoys the sport that he is playing! sparks is a good athlete and baseball player! I would defend any player when someone like ovc champs 87 gets on here and downs them! Everysport is a team sport and it takes the whole team just not an individual!
Sparks,Haynes, and Murphy will definately be the key players returning but theyre going to have more step up and fill the spots!
Rock Hill will be tough ! malone, blagg and im sure theres some other returners for them! Im sure davenport will be missed! he was tough!

who is the coaches now i know one but who is helping him. hope c p or keaton will be there. i think sparks can be a 1 they only thing i think that hurts him is he tries to hard not to get beat he needs to play and have fun not worrying about what is going to happen if they lose i think he will have a great year in baseball to much pressure isnt good and i think sometimes you need to pull back and have fun play fundemental have fun.
