Do people really have to pay $10 ahead of time to attend the tournament games?

Just heard on the radio that the Hillsboro/Marietta game is now at Marietta. I wonder who will bat first and how they'll handle the tickets. I don't see that game on the Ohsaa site anymore where you purchase the tickets.

So you just can't walk up, show your vaccination document, pay cash, and get in?

No. You have to purchase tickets online ahead of time

Just click on Baseball, then find the district that the game is being played in and search. Pretty easy.

Yep, which is great when it comes to a sport that can be postponed for weather at any time.

Just saw on Facebook where a Unioto fan can’t attend tomorrow and had to find a buyer on there since that game got postponed to tomorrow.

I would guess Marietta is still the visitors due to being the lower seed. Tickets shouldn’t be needed since they weren’t going to be at Hillsboro...but it’s the OHSAA, so that could change on a whim since the location has been flipped.

So far no upsets other than 9 over 8. Maybe one will happen today. As a Unioto fan, I could see this game being a trap game with the team looking ahead to the next few games and trying to save pitching. New Lex has some good wins
