not to get off the topic of field lengths but Jared Farmer hit his second home run of the year today against Northwest. He hit it over the 335 mark in center field.

That maybe the case but, Jared hit the home run @ Minford tonight. And yes, it was over the 335 sign in center field.

Hey RTN-
Tell Riffle congrats from me. Sounds like teams will start pitching around him.

It probably won't be FH. Even if it's a smart thing to do, "WE DON'T WALK PEOPLE!"

Usually because in high school baseball "a leadoff walk scores 87% of the time." :122248

Oh btw,

Fed Hock: Cory McCune 2 HRS (must've hit the 'roids in the offseason to add to that 160 lbs of bulk)

87% may be a little high. I assume this is a "Rockyism"?

Minfords field is pretty big. IN left field it is 365 and center is 360 and in right its 335. Jared Farmer hit his second HR against Northwest and it was in right center field and barely went over but I believe the HR pitch was a changeup so it didnt get much distance.

As long as it goes over the wall than it doesn't matter how much the ball cleared it. But, if you really want to talk about distance than we need to talk about the first home run he hit this year. He hit it to deep left center and it got stuck all the way up in the tree tops. Now, that shot would have been in the upper bleacher seats at Great American Ball Park way out in left field. Thats what I call power.
