No they didn't play. I heard it may have been due to an Oak Hill bus situation because I know other baseball teams around the area played.

I am too BF69. Minford is really good, 10-0, and have beaten some good teams. Minford also scoring lots of runs this year. I think the Burg Ace, Burg defense and offense, take care of business tonight to prevent a repeat of last year at Minford. Between the Home Plate Umpire controversy and that PA Announcer there not announcing a certain player who left Minford each time he came up to bat, and then turning on his microphone to laugh at kids when they made errors, it got pretty hostile there.

Should be a good one today. It'll probably come down to who makes an error. Both teams can hit and pitch. Fielding and base running will be key (as they always are).

That's funny Raider but I think you need to bite your tongue. I think Burg will try hard and not bite the bullet until the very end of the game. I think if Burg pulls it out tonight, Minford may be once bitten, twice shy come Friday night!

Come on dude. There wasnt a PA announcer intentionally laughing at Burg players last year. Grow up.

Anyways, Minford won this evening 5-3 against Burgs ace. I will say that Burgs pitcher looked good until Minford got runners on base and then he fell apart hitting the strike zone. That was the difference in the game. Both teams looked very good and fundamental.

Minford will be harder to handle and much faster on Friday night with their normal starting lineup.
