Portsmouth took both games against Chesapeake tonight.
First game was 16 to 0
Second game 10 to 0

Portsmouth beat Northwest on Monday with a score of 4 to 0.

Tuesday they will play eastern brown at home,the Wednesday they will travel to Fairland to play for the OVC title, it was not a pretty game last time with the Trojans falling to the Dragons 16 to 0 so hopefully we will see a much better game this time around.

It's been a great season for the Trojans though,and they can't finish no worse the second place in the OVC ,I'm thinking they have a two or three game lead on third place Ironton

Portsmouth picked up another win tonight against eastern Brown by a score of 10 to 0 after 5 innings,it was a 3 to 0 game going into the bottom of the 5th when the trojan bats exploded for 7 runs in the inning to finish the game off.


Off to Fairland tomorrow night for the OVC title

Hopefully our Trojans will bring their best against Fairland tonight. That's what it will take to beat the Dragons.

Portsmouth lost a tough one last night at fairland,had a 1 to 0 lead into the 7th , fairland tied the game in the bottom of the 7 , fairland went on to win the OVC championship in a walk off fashion in bottom of the 9th.

Congratulations to Fairland on the championship and great effort by the Trojans, finishing this high in the OVC is still a great season,not many gave you much of a chance and had you at the bottom,it's been a great season overall so far, looking forward to post season.

I second congratulations to the Fairland Dragons on their OVC championship, and I salute our Trojans for a great season in the OVC. I told biggdowgg that I feel really good about Portsmouth's chances to make a long tourney run considering that FHS might be the best team in SE D3. The Trojans and Dragons wouldn't meet until the regionals. In just a few years, Coach Aaron Duncan has built the PHS baseball program into one of the best in the SE district.

Tonight "Friday" they will play white oak at Portsmouth
