Sparks is good but I'm sorry 80's is not there. Burcham outpitched him. Dont get me wrong Sparks threw well but he got tired. Burcham does throw in the low 80's and Sparks wasnt near Burcham's velocity. I have to hand it to Sparks, he battled and is a gutsy pitcher.

I got to see sparks tonight against Rock Hill and he is a good ball player and about the only thing that coal grove has but he was maybe mid 70's tonight.. there was no velocity at all.. idk if it was that he was tired or what but no way he was in the 80's.. Malone was throwing just as hard as sparks was.. Sparks got shelled tonight..

I am SHOCKED that they pitched Sparks. The coach should have his head examined. That poor kid threw 130 pitches plus on Monday. He shouldnt even been on the mound. I hope that kid makes it through the season!!! It looks like Fairland and Rock Hill this year again.
