Unioto kept its tourney run alive tonight beating a tough C'ville team 5-0 behind a Bryce Arledge complete game. He allowed 4 hits, walked 2, and K'd 2. The Shermans will face Sheridan on Wednesday at 5:00 at the VA. Sheridan beat Athens 5-0. They are a big team that hits the ball well. Good Luck to all the SVC teams in the tourney!

With Meigs being the #1 seed can we expect to see Farmer pitch would really like to see him pitch ?

if i count correct. the SVC was 43-15 in the non league this year so far. that is throwing out a few games where league teams played each other a non league game. unioto has already won a district title. three others have a chance in div 3. actually 4, but two would have to play each other.

8-0 Piketon after 5 1/2. The Zach Farmer kid I guess is sophomore but he's being recruited by OSU and Kentucky I guess. Must be a phenomenal kid on the baseball diamond.

alright i will try that thanks . Yea Farmer is the real deal . He has been clocked at 92, also a good hitter batting at around 500 with 4 or 5 homers . He has good size at 6"2 , a real prospect.

Congrats to Piketon on advancing to the Elite Eight. Now go out and get an SVC team back to the final four! Good luck today!

Congrats also to Unioto on a great season, I know yesterday was a heartbreaker, but you pushed the #1 in your division to the brink and shouldn't hang your heads over the great effort.

looking ahead to next season.
unioto has their pitching back, but will lose a lot of position players.
adena has the core of their team back with all pitchers. yates, wheeler, bowdle all good players.
piketon returns all but one senior. the key for them to win the league is their other pitchers.
westfall has stonerock back and others. wolfe and link are big losses.
zane trace returns something like eight starters plus they will get their SS back off injury.
huntington has some good young players. vickers kid can throw it. irvin is a huge loss though.
paint valley has a good pitcher in thompson. lost dove, lambert and tyree.
southeastern loses their best player and will still be young.
