Are we having an identity crisis or can we get back to baseball?
I hear that Fairland's field is getting an upgrade? Any word on South Point's new field?
How is Ironton's new field coming along?

Squinks, you are out of your mind. SP can't win without the players you mentioned. Rock Hill and Coal Grove have too much talent not to walk away with the OVC.

I don't think all the fans and players hate the coach. The new coach is so much better than what we had. Shalot is building the program from the Biddy League level. The kids are learning the basic plays at the A and B level. The middle school kids are in the weight room. I'm predicting a great team when the 8th grade now are seniors, the 7th and 6h grades now are really good too.

have you been to a south point football game since hes been the coach? the parents and fans do nothing but yell and cuss at him letting him know they arent happy. these kids went from winning the OVC to winning 1 game a year. and dont say its not talent cause the same group of kids have played to together since d team. next time your at a sp football game listen to the comments made about him, hes horrible and they want him gone.

OK hats off, I stand corrected, but I still think squinks was implying that these slackers aren't going to make it.
By the way this is a baseball forum not football!

i pretty sure people can say w/e they want on any forum and pretty sure you didnt make this forum...and i have agree with hats off ...Doug Shilot cannot get through his head you cant run the 6 hole every time and when he takes his best players off the field when they are trying their hardest for the team that is even right and he doesnt even give an explanation for why he did it??

Come on squinks, we all know it's not Shilots fault. You can't do anything about ineligible players and players that don't care. He had players on the sidelines that acted like they were hurt, and could have played. Same in baseball, numbers speak volumes. Kids would rather work to make money to pay for cars, play video games, and have too many other interests. 10 years from now they will regret not playing ball. But in most cases they don't have enough character and respect to pass a high school class.

pretty sure you havent played for shilot and you cant run every play everytime and we had everybody out for football you dont know wat you are talking about...and your saying it is the players fault when the coach is callling the play over and over.when you run the play over and over everybody is gonna catch on and stay at the 6 hole and yea people did get hurt but they didnt fake it....are you saying people were faking?

One thing that you don't get squinks:----- you don't play for the coach! You play for pride and the school, not the coach. You need to let the coach do his job and you do yours. The reason he calls a play is because he sees something or doesn't have the players to run anything else.

Not so much faking injuries, but wimping out and not playing because they had a bruise or a hangnail.

Let's just say that some of the guys didn't want to play, but wanted to be on the team. Not all, because there were a few who were legitimately hurt.

what you have heard was just rumors maybe like 2 people could of played but the trainer wouldnt let them go back in...when the kids wanted to ...you cant blame the players when its the trainers decision whether you go back in or not cuz it is his butt if something really happens to the kids who were really hurt
