Re: Logan Baseball
Bad weather has brought an end to the season for the boys playing in Lancaster. Finished 2-4 only playing half of their games. Finished with a convincing win in their last game so they ended on a positive note. Good experience for those kids. Committed to playing in Lancasters league next spring. Coach has said no more rec ball for these kids, cannot grow and develop with 10 games a year. Between spring and fall ball in Lancaster and several weekend tournaments around the area over the summer they are determined to play 45-50 games next year. Most of team is returning and all will be 10 yr olds next year. This is a group of kids that just love to play baseball and have coaches and parents with just as much passion for it. Most important they have a solid financial backing willing to pay for almost everything including league and tournament fees. All the kids have to do is play. The coach has gone out and found some hidden passion for baseball in Logan which has been buried for far to long. Best of luck to this group and lets hope more people follow their lead. Things can change.
