Give me your thoughts on where your school should be seeded. I think Wheelersburg should be 1 in thier district.

Just found Wheelersburgs bracket

Schools: Chesapeake, Dawson Bryant, Fairland, Ironton, Minford, Portsmouth, Portsmouth West, Rock Hill, South Point, Wheelersburg (10)

Winners play in Athens

Should be seeded.

But, I would hope that Wheelersburg would be the 1 in their sectional.

By the looks of that sectional, Minford would be the 2 right now.

4 teams from each sectional move on this year and there will be 3 SE district champions to move onto the VA in late May.

I would think Zane Trace and Adena would be the other 1 seeds, if someone could post their sectionals as well. Thanks.

I usually stand at the games I attend, so I won't have to worry about my tourney seats.

So the sectional is at Westfall?Or is that guy just the manager?Seems like the teams from along th river are going to have to travel a long ways.Boy the OHSAA just loves Southern Ohio dont they?

Sectional games are typically played with homefield advantage given to the team with the higher seed.

I just realized that Federal Hocking is also in ZT's sectional, so they could also be a 1.

The tournament manager lives near Westfall, but sectionals are played at the team who is higher on the brackets home-field.

Districts have been traditionally played at Northwest, Jackson, or Rio Grande.

Personally, I am not a fan of going to Jackson for a game. NW and Rio would be very good choices to play. NW would be a really short drive for me when I get off work.

imo Jackson should not hold districts ... their facilities are not impressive and the infield is quite bumpy

Wheelersburg sectional should look something like this (take into this that i know no teams record):
1. Burg
2. Minford
3. Fland
4. Pmouth
5. RH
6. SP
7. Ironton
8. CG
9. Chessy
10. Pwest

If anyone has these teams records i could re-do this easily cause im sure im wrong on a few of them

Ya I knew they had been played like that in the past but it sounded like OHSAA was going to make us travel even for sectionals.Sorry about that guys I shouldnt have jumped to conclusions.

I think that Unioto should be in front of Nelsonville. Everything else looks right though.

Dani- Wellston is 10-6
Belpre is 8-8 or 8-7
Nelsonville-York is 6-8 or 6-9

Where are the first round games played in D2? I also noticed that the semis at the VA have been moved up to the 19th instead of the 20th.Was there a stadium scheduling conflict?

The 8/9 and 7/10 games are to be played on the 10th.

The VA is hosting the MAC Baseball Tournament from the 21st-24th
