Any thoughts ? I would put the Burg on top in this on.

The Pirates are going to have to get the offense going because we have been in funk the past few games. We need to be aggressive on the base paths and be able to move runners. Our pitching and defense should be fine but we do need to fine tune a few things. Two days to focus on the job at hand come Friday.

If the Pirates show up on Friday I don't see them having much trouble winning this game.

Like bama said, their hitting needs some work although they are hitting the ball. They are just not stringing the hits together when needed. Also seems that they just can't catch a break on getting runners in position.

Look for Russell to be dominating on the mound in this one.

To the 8 seniors... Everything is in place for you to reach your goal but you must be committed, support and lead this team. Stay confident in your abilities as the entire team has worked so hard to get to this point. Support each other, do the little things that make a difference and focus on one game at a time.

Chesapeake beat West 1-0 in a very good "pitcher's duel" Tues. evening... Nice game by both teams..

Wheelersburg will be different.. The Pirates should win easily as they have experience and lots of skilled talent at key positions...
The Panthers are relatively young and have not won many games................. but..... I'll be cheering for the Panthers.

Burg should have the "w" in this one. But I think the panthers really do have more talent than what they've shown this year. I'm expecting a decent game.

Burg shouldn't have any problem winning this one as long as they play the ball they're capable of playing.

The Burg should come away with this game pretty easy hope the rain holds off.

It is at wheelersburg.

Still no word other than the field is in pretty bad shape and with no sun or wind probably will not get much better before 5pm.

Someone let us know if the game is postponed. I will be trying to leave work early if either it or the softball game are still on schedule.

This is from 2 pretty good sources that the game has been postponed until tomorrow at 5pm.

It would not suprise me with all the rain we had last night that this game is moved to tomorrow afternoon. No sun today, not much wind and possible rain until noon then cloudy. Field will probably be slow to dry.

Game time is the same for tom.

Tomorrow is a terrible day for me personally but I do not have a say on when the game is played. Hopefully, the game will be played this afternoon. I just have to cross my fingers and hope for the best.

I was told our game "portsmouth/chesapeake..will be played at 1 o clock tommorow....so I may come up to see the Burg tommorow evening
