Wheelersburg reaches district finals

Wheelersburg beat Westfall 20-2 in five innings in a Division III district semifinal game at Athens Wednesday.
The Pirates are 26-1 overall but dropped from first to third place in the final state poll between Adena (first) and Zane Trace (fourth). All three are in different brackets of the Southeast District tournament so all could reach the regionals if they win their district games.
