Everybody had big expectations going into this season for this years team and you definetly have lived up to the billing. Now it's time to prove that you belong there.

Congratulations to wheelersburg on making it to state. Now don't be satisfied with just making it there! You have a chance to do what many people dreamt of doing in high school, winning a state championship. Good luck and bring home that GOLD trophy.

Thanks to all of our friends for the kind comments. Yes, we are representing the school, community of Wheelersburg and we are also representing southern Ohio. We want to do that well!

Yestereday was very emotional, the moms actually held their composure better than the dads when the game was over. Hopefully, the young men in orange and black will be able to hold their composure and play fundamental baseball for two games.

Good luck to the entire team and coaches. The only game we can concentrate on is Friday morning at 10 a.m. against Hamilton Badin.

Another state appearance for SE Ohio's best sports program........the Burg has compiled quite a resume over a long time with their athletic accomplishments.

Thanks for the kind words trojandave. It would be nice if they could turn some of these state appearances into state titles.

This team has the potential to just do that. If they play the style of ball that they are capable of playing, they can do it. It takes some skill and alot of luck once you get this year.

Spence has been a beast this year at the plate.

Yeah , he's hit the ball well. He' s great kid. Trying to talk him into walking on at EKU next fall.

Thanks for all the support from everyone on here. It does not go unnoticed. During the regular season we can have our differences in opinions and sometimes get into heated discussions, but we should and will support our area sports teams.

Again these young men and coaches have worked so hard outside normal practice time they deserve to be there and win it all! A great group indeed.
