Does anybody have any info on this. I was told it was in the Ironton Tribune yesterday. I can't believe there isn't any more info on this

Oh it's Gene's home town also. I think it will be much better. Gene will take care of the league he helped start.

$149.00 per player? That's crazy for an area like southern ohio. i would like to know what the turn out is like. i hope its successful but i have my doubts.

Gene needs to get out to more high school games. for the past 10 years ive seen so many kids drafted from the area and the reds are clueless about the talent. where was gene when josh newman was dominating in southern ohio???? sitting in the air conditioning id say.

I believe the Reds did draft Newman but he instead went to Ohio State...

The Reds drafted Newman after his junior year while at Ohio State. Josh knew where his status was, played it smart, and went back to Ohio State for his senior year. Turned out well for him as there isn't many lefties in the whole Rockies organization.

well, good move on the reds part, even beter move on newmans part. what ever happened with josh myers from symes valley, greene from minford??? i heard they both didnt do much in the minor leagues.

I don't believe anything really panned out for either. They were both good players.
