Athens defeats Meigs in final regular season game

Athens defeated Meigs 11-1 in 7 innings to clinch a # 3 seed in the District Tournament. They will play Gallipolis on Sunday at Rannow Field at 1:00 pm. Jared Cline pitched a masterful game and Athens got some clutch hits.

Congrats to Athens. You could tell they were ready to play last night. Post 128 certainly didn't look like the same team that beat Pickerington the other night. Time to re-group and get ready for the tournament Meigs Post 128.
