Ben Barnas I remember seeing him on an all-star team 2 years ago and he was a great pitcher but I heard he got hurt but the coach told me he was gonna be alright for next year.

Drew Nestor by far he throw low to mid 70s and great off speed stuff
almost untouchable when on the mound

Watch out for Chad Stengel of Fort Frye, and Beverly-Lowell Legion.
His Dad is his pitching coach, and on warm winter days you can see them throwing on the island at Lowell.
Chad has great control, and a good mix of pitches.
It's a rare outing when he walks over two batters.
I think he's a junior this year.

Since the thread didn't specify whether or not we're talking present pitchers or past, I'll give some from the past. Jason Ervin was dominating as a Little Leaguer with the Middleport Cardinals and continued the dominance through his high school career at first at Meigs and then finishing at Athens (1994 graduate).

Likewise, Brett Newsome and Gary Stanley were both studs in Little League and continued their pitching excellence as high schoolers at Meigs in the mid-late 90's.

My feeling on this post is that it is a farce. Very few if even one in little league is a pitcher. Most of them are throwers. Most of the kids that were successful in Little League was the fact they were bigger than most of the players and just over powered the hitters. Why they were successful in little league and all they had to throw was that fast ball we built them up so high, that when they get to Jr. High then High school they really do not know how to pitch. In Jr. High kids of caught up physically with those pitchers who were dominant in Little League and when they start to get their fastball rocked they do not know how to handle it and they fall apart. I continually see this year after year.
There may have been a few but I bet you could count them on both hands that were successful in little league on through High School!

thats why when you coach a kid in little league that has a dominant fastball you have to teach them to mix in a changeup. they will remember how well the changeup worked when they hit jr. high and get rocked a couple times, next thing you know that kid who just rocked you because you tested them out with a fast ball ends up looking bad swinging way ahead of a changeup, and by that time the kid will be throwing a curve and who knows wat other pitches. coaches have to teach kids to be smart at a young ago, not just teach them to over power other players, weather it be a pitcher with a good arm, or a hitter with power at a young age
