Just got word that the start time has been pushed back till 6pm due to travel arrangements for r v . I'm just glad they are gonna be able to play.Hope to see a good crowd come out to support the Flyers in their opener.

Flyers should roll in this one. I say the lights go out early with the mercy rule.

Funny you should say that! The lights did go "out" but not when they were supposed to. The game was called in the bottom of the 6th but the Flyers still won. I believe the score was 10-1.

Flyers looked decent last night and knocked off some rust since they haven't practiced since last Monday due to weather and school activities occupying the gym. Pitchers were able to get out of a few sticky situations. River Valley has a couple nice infielders up the middle that made quite a few nice plays that kept the game in check until the end. Flyer fan support was very good. Nice way to start off the season, 1-0 with the 10-1 victory.
