The Burg JV had a good weekend- defeating Alexander in both games- 11-0 and 7-4 i believe. undefeated so far this season 7-0. Austin Hall and Bryce Hall went long for HR's in the first game. Nice job as a team. Burg looks good for years to come

The best thing Wheelersburg did was to split its LL program into a 9/10 division, a 11/12 division and to start jr. high baseball about 5-6 years ago. The feeder program for both the baseball and softball teams is very strong.

If the Burg JV remains undefeated i believe that they travel to adena this weekend to face an undefeated adena jv team. any thoughts or information on adena

Alexander has recently switched to 9-10, and 11-12 year old leagues and have also just adopted a Jr. High program. Hopefully they will see the same success as the Burg.

Burg JV Over Waverly 10-9 in the bottom of the seventh- wow wasnt pretty but a w is a w. JV goes to adena this morning im sure for another good adena team- seems like they always have a good team. Third baseman for waverly was tough last night. Was down 9-6 going into the bottom of the seventh and rallied to come back for the win

Burg JV wins both today at Adena- first game 9-2. Second game 19-7. Nice job with the bats today. I believe the JV's record is 11-0. Real nice coaching excellent learning situtaions with Coaches Heimbach and Clark. Could not have picked any better coaches for this group of young men. We are very fortunate.

Heimbach was the head man at D1 Teays Valley for like six years. He won about 100 games in those six years. He won three straight Mid-State League titles in a pretty good baseball league. Yes, the Burg is very lucky.

Waverly outhit and out played Wheelersburg Friday night. Waverly's pitcher had a hard time throwing strikes. The 7th inning rally was 3 runs on no hits one error and 6 walks.

Burg over Valley tonight 12-0 in five. Was 9-0 at end of one. Bad inning for valley. Younger boys for the burg look good keep it up.

Burg JV over Northwest tonight 13-4. i believe the JV is 14-0 awesome group of young men. Tomorrow they are playing Ironton at Ashland central park in a nightime game 7:00pm

Burg JV over Greenup tonight 12-0 in five innings= special group of young men that play really well and are coached extremely well. Undefeated season. These boys will make some noise in the years to come at the varsity level.
