Final score in the TVC Ohio as was just texted to me:

Alexander 8, Wellston 6.

Wellston now 3-3 in the TVC-Ohio with back-to-back losses to Meigs and Alexander in three days.

If Athens beat Belpre tonight, then Athens clinches at least a share of the TVC-Ohio title in its first year in the league. They would be 9-0 and there are a total of 12 league games. Because both Belpre and Wellston would have at least three league losses and the remaining four teams already have at least four.

Wellston is at Belpre on Tuesday and the loser of that game is out of the league championship chase. The best the winner can do, but only if it wins out and Athens loses out, is gain a share.

Burg Valley game was interesting to watch. Burg jumps out to 7-0 lead thru 3 innings, they hit two HR at valley. White and Brown. Valley changed pitchers and seemed to slow down the burg bats. Valley then scored 4 runs to make it interesting in the bottom of the 4th. Valley scored two more in the bottle of 6th. Bottom of 7th Indians get lead off single and then two seniors miss signs and runner is got stealing when bunt was on. Congrats to Burg and Elliot he pitched good game. The Indians never gave up so alot of spunk from young team. Good luck to both teams. they meet again thursday at burg.
