GREAT GAME TO WATCH AT SYMMES VALLEY TONIGHT. NOTRE DAME JUMPED ON THE VIKINGS EARLY GOING UP 7-2 AFTER 4 INNINGS. VIKINGS RESPONDED WITH 3 RUNS IN THE 5TH WITH TAYLOR HITTING A 3 RUN HOMER. VIKINGS TIED THE SCORE IN THE SEVENTH INNING. AFTER A SCORELESS 8TH NOTRE DAME SCORED A RUN IN THE 9TH TO TAKE THE LEAD. WITH ONE OUT IN THE BOTTOM OF THE 9TH BLAND DOUBLED TO RIGHT FIELD AND SCORED ON A DOUBLE BY HATFIELD TO TIE THE GAME. TAYLOR THEN SINGLED UP THE MIDDLE TO SCORE HATFIELD ON A DRAMATIC PLAY AT THE PLATE. POWELL STARTED AND PITCHED INTO THE 4TH INNING AND WAS RELIEVED BY JJ HUFF WHO WAS RELIEVED BY POWELL IN THE NINTH. VERY GOOD PITCHING BY BOTH TEAMS TONIGHT AND A VERY EXCITING GAME TO WATCH. VIKINGS REMAIN UNDEFEATED IN SOC DESPITE PLAYING A VERY TALENTED NOTRE DAME TEAM TONIGHT. .

Hats off to the Notre Dame boys tonight. They came out fighting and stayed up until the very end. It was a good fought game on both sides. Lots of fan support from Symmes Valley. #2 Brock Hannah pitched the first 6 innings then was relieved by # 10 Kevin Delabar for Notre Dame. Close call at home plate to give Symmes Valley the winning run. Congratulations to the Titans for hanging in there with a good Symmes Valley team. Keep your heads up. You are a young team and have nothing to be ashamed of.
