Voting was saturday but probably not offically released for a couple weeks.

POY is usually a pitcher. So probably Robertson of Waverly.

You could make a great case for White and Hopper of Wheelersburg. Both of these guys can change a game w/ one swing and other teams know this. Both have started and hit in the middle of the lineup since they were sophomores on some outstanding Wheelersburg teams. Since that sophomore year, I believe the Burg to date has a record of 74-7. Throw in their freshman year and it bumbs their H.S. record up to 100-13. That's coming off of memory, but I know they are very responsible for many of those wins. Both have had great H.S. careers and both have bright futures. I wish them the best.

It seems like they usually wait until the tournament is well underway. Also the conference title still hasn't been decided with Waverly still to play W'Burg and finish the Valley game. This will determine the number of selections based upon how each team finishes.

1st place gets 5 (3 1st and 2 2nd)
2nd place gets 4 (2 and 2)
and so on.

IMO these remaining league games should've already been played. There have been a couple days that these game could've been played.

Buldog--I wish games were over with but there is no way that they could have been played at Waverly. We have had rain just about everyday it seems like.

I understand but it could've been played at W'Burg.

Do you think Wheelersburg would give up a home game when they were two games out with two to play? Get real!!

Burg tried to play Waverly today, but I guess Robo couldn't pitch so they said NO.

Also the game that was called off last week because of rain some people made the trip up and said that the Tigers was practicing on the field. I guess Robo couldn't pitch that game either.

When is the game against Valley being made-up.

Free Safety--The reason why the game wasn't played today was because that would possibly make Waverly playing 5 games in 6 days. Thats a little much. It has nothing to do with Robo not pitching. We have other pitchers that can pitch and would have against Wheelersburg or any other team. We are making up the game with Valley on the 19th. Not sure if you know but this was started once before but was suspended due to rain. If we were playing today, it would be suspended right now due to rain because it is raining in Waverly at the current time.

Buldog--I am sure if the situation was switched then Burg would rather play their home game up Waverly. Yeah right..

Besides there is some talk about making up the Burg game on May 26th.

Yes W'Burg would give up a home game to travel to Waverly twice to play the game... As a matter of fact we played both our Valley games at Valley this year. :122249 There is more hinging on playing these games than the SOC2. SOC2 awards, to be exact, will probably be delayed until the league games are complete

Right now Waverly is focused on the playoffs and I am sure it is the same with Burg. Waverly would just rather play home games on their own field with their fans there. Plus, they are undefeated in conference and do not see them giving up home field advantage. The game will get played soon enough, most likely around the 26th. If Waverly gets beat by Circleville, then it might happen sooner.

SOC needs to go with the SVC make-up rule.
League games are made up the next Tuesday or Thursday. No if, and or buts.
Non-league games on Tuesday and Thursday are always in jeopardy.
Some SVC schools schedule non-league games for Tuesday and Thursday. Others just load up on Saturday DH's.

Waverly had agreed to play Wheelersburg down there for a second time but Burg's AD would not allow a baseball game during a home track meet. Waverly won 15 games so far without Robo pitching. I've never heard the bottle of whine being opened up in Wheelersburg before.

Seems everyone is jealous of winners, regardless of who they are.

If the tables were turned there is no way 'Burg would go for any of that. Don't even act like they would, we have all been around too long to bite on that nonsense!

If the tide was turned this game would have already been played. By the way, read my post above.

My complaint has nothing to do with who pitches this game just that it needs to be played and over. I agree with Bozo should not have an option of pushing it 2-3 weeks after the scheduled season.

Anyway, hope it will be played soon so both teams can focus on the tournament.
