A ball team consisting of southeast Ohio and West Virginia high school varsity players competed in "Big League Baseball" league in Columbus this Fall. These Fine Young Men made a weekly trip to Columbus For a double header each Sunday. They finished the regular season games with an impressive 11-1 record! Today they played their hearts out in the league tournament, winning the first game in an extra inning by a single run. In the Championship match against the Dragons of Columbus, They came up one run short, with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th. My hat is off to these fine ball players. They never gave up and represented our area schools very well.

Chad Stengle-----Fort Frye
Donald Hilverding-----Fort Frye

Great job by these boys, way to represented Southeast Ohio.
Also to the coaches Todd Engle and Matt Helverding for doing a
outstanding job of bringing these boys together and getting them
to play the way they did. All the boys and parents are first class
and would just like to say thanks for having us. T Square
