why?????? they are not that good, have not been that good and see nothing coming up baseball wise to say otherwise.

Wellston will not finish last in the TVC Ohio in 2010.

Maybe not but as long as the "Head Coach" is there they will not be much above last place.

Wellston wins it or finishes close to the top. alot returning and will win just as many or more than last year

Wellston has won 54 games in three seasons under this head coach, a TVC title and a district runner-up finish. Probably one of the better records around. He's doing just fine and keep it rolling Rockets. Hes also an excellent basketball coach. Check his overall record there to.

im pretty sure belpre crushed ny last year at ny and did the same when they came to belpre...same goes with vc. i dont see either team finishing ahead of belpre this year. belpre will be a better team this year than last year.

Id get used to athens winning the tittle in baseball. They lose 3 Sr's from last year, the big one being Jared Cline. Great baseball talent in the younger grades.And I'm pretty sure the 8th grade baseball teams in the past have whooped the league there in for the past 3-4 years. Aside from losing Jared Cline it wont be hard to replace the other positions cause there is very good talent to fill those spots. They bring back the leading hitter from last years team Doug Chapman who will be throwing hard from the mound for the dogs as well next year. Just saying,only talent pouring into Athens when it comes to baseball.

i heard Brooks Sizemore was playin for belpre this year? any thoughts??

The JH league you are talking about is First Capital JH Baseball League.
Athens has not wooped up on the league. They have been very competitive.
I will say the Junior Class is very good finishing second to Portsmouth at the VA.
Athen will control this league. Vinton Co also plays in this league.
Very competitive.

Alexander, Vinton county, Athens, and Belpre will fight it out most years for the TVC-Ohio crown. Athens will not come in and take over the league. Yes they will win a fair share of titles but they are not going to dominate.
